Opening Session Committee

Responsibilities:

• Direct all aspects dealing with the Annual Conference Opening Session

• Work with the President-elect to secure a keynote speaker and entertainment

• Secure a band or color guard to present the colors and the Pledge of Allegiance

• Secure someone to serve as the emcee

• Designate head table assignments in advance notifying the participants in advance

• Upon approval by the President-elect deliver the program agenda (to also include welcome and announcements, conference overview, awards and other items as directed by the Board) to the Notebook Committee by date set by Chair of Notebook Committee due to printing timeframes
