2009 Due to economic concerns, the annual conference postponed until 2010. Board member baby photo contest sponsored by Entertainment Committee.
September 17, 2009 Annual Business Meeting held at the NC State Employees Assn. Karen Bennett of Gaston CSE named Employee of the Year. Gaston CSE also won the Banner contest. The terms of all officers were extended for an additional year.
2008 187 applications received for 4 college scholarships. Raffle prizes included plasma TV & 3 vacation packages.
August 20-22, 2008 NCCSC held it's 25th Annual Training Conference at the Crown Plaza Resort in Asheville, NC.
August 15-17, 2007 24th Annual Conference held at Greensboro Marriott Downtown, Greensboro, NC.  Ten (10) counties:  Catawba, Chatham, Guilford, Haywood, McDowell, Orange, Polk, Stokes, Vance and Yadkin, had 100 percent membership in the North Carolina Child Support Council.  Alice McCoy, Social Service Program Consultant (Central Office) named the first black President of the North Carolina Child Support Council.
April-May, 2006 NCCSC Web Site Scavenger Hunt contest winner was Shakiri Weathers of Cabarrus County
September 13-15, 2006 23rd Annual Conference held at Sheraton, Atlantic Beach. Special Achievement awards were presented to Wilson County CSE and to Julie Bagley, NC CSE Central Registry Manager.  Over $8,600 raised through raffle ticket sales.
August 17-19, 2005 22nd Annual Conference held at Renaissance Hotel, Asheville
July, 2005 1st Presidential Scholarships for conference attendance awarded to council members, Connie Bridges of NCCSE CSE and Robynn Spence of Rutherford County
September 15-17, 2004 21st Annual Conference held at Sheraton, Raleigh
February 14, 2003 Decision made to move annual training conference to autumn.
May 7-9, 2003 20th Annual Conference held at Hilton, Wilmington with NC First Lady, Mary Easley as keynote speaker.
December 13, 2002 Golf tournament named the Roy Godwin Invitational Golf Tournament, in honor of Roy's efforts toward tournament success.
March 20-22, 2002 19 th Annual Conference held at Grove Park Inn, Asheville.
April 21, 2001 1st annual golf tournament held at Baywood Golf Club, Fayetteville, with 48 participants. Over $3000 raised for the Bob McGuire Educational Scholarship Fund
May 3, 2001 Official Council logo available for inclusion on souvenir Items.
May 2-4, 2001 18th Annual Conference held at Adams Mark Hotel, Charlotte
April 26-28, 2000 17th Annual Conference held at Holiday Inn Four Seasons, Greensboro
September 15, 2000 Council Web Site announced, design underway by 1 st Webmaster, Pat Smith.
May 12-14, 1999 16th Annual Conference held at Sea Trail Resort, Sunset Beach; 1st Bob McGuire educational scholarships awarded.
May 11, 1999 1 st council sponsored golf tournament at Sea Trail Resort.
March 24-26, 1998 15th Annual Conference held at Grove Park Inn, Asheville.
May 8, 1998 Board approved joining of Council and CSE Attorney Conferences.
April 23-25, 1997 14th Annual Conference held at Radisson Hotel, Raleigh. Candy sale to raise money for scholarships begun, with approx. $4000 collected.
April 18, 1996 13th Annual Conference held at Adams Mark Hotel Charlotte. Charlotte Council conference is the most well attended Conference in the Council's history, with over 586 attendees.  New public service announcements unveiled at this meeting as well.
February, 1996 Governor Jim Hunt joins the Child Support Council.
March 29-31, 1995 12 th Annual Conference held at Hilton, Wilmington.
March 29, 1994 11th Annual Conference held at the Grove Park Inn at Asheville drew the largest attendance ever at a Council conference with over 500 participants pre-registered.
April 21-23, 1993 10 th Annual Conference held at Stouffer Hotel Winston-Salem.
March 11, 1992 Public Service Announcements are developed by the Council and unveiled at the annual meeting in Greensboro, NC.
March 11-13, 1992 9th Annual Conference held at Holiday Inn Four Seasons, Greensboro.
April 3-5, 1991 8 th Annual Conference held at Adams Mark Hotel, Charlotte.
April 11-13, 1990 7th Annual Conference held at Grove Park Inn, Asheville; Brochures developed by the Council to publicized child support services to the general public were unveiled at the 1990 annual Council Conference at the Grove Park Inn at Asheville. At this same event, it was recognized that the Child Support Study Commission being conducted by legislative mandate to study service delivery was based in a large part on the work done on a concept paper developed by the Council
April 10, 1990 Council tax exempt status approved by IRS.
April 5-7, 1989 6th Annual Conference held at Mission Valley Inn, Raleigh.
February, 1988 Received Articles of Incorporation.
March 29-31, 1988 5th Annual Conference held at the St. Regis Resort, Topsail Island.
1988 Efforts to ensure wide representation on board & non-board members represented on all committees.
April 15-17, 1987 4 th Annual Conference held at Adams Mark Hotel Charlotte. Goals set by the board included: improving service of process; more automation; daily distribution of support
April 24, 1986 Awards in recognition of outstanding individuals in the area of Child Support are given at the 1986 annual conference.  Those awards were given to Evelyn Dawson of Halifax County, and Elizabeth Harris of Warren County.
April 23-25, 1986 3 rd Annual Conference held at Sheraton, Greensboro; Lt. Governor Robert Jordan, Senator Helen Marvin spoke during the opening session.
April 17-19, 1985 2nd Annual Conference. North Carolina Child Support Council Conference's general session was taped for viewing statewide on OPEN/net.  The Governor declares this week during the conference as Child Support Awareness week for the first time
December 6, 1985 Board approved that membership in the Council run from conference to conference, rather than calendar year. Board member terms staggered - 1/3 expired annually; Council activities concentrated on legislative lobbying
April 11-13, 1984 1st Annual NC Child Support Council Conference held at Raleigh Hilton.
March 3, 1983 1 st ever annual meeting of the membership of the Council.
March 2-4, 1983 Conference sponsored jointly with NCCSE and held at Hilton, Winston-Salem. Senator Helen Marvin was the keynote speaker; 325 attended.
August, 1982 First edition of the Council newsletter. North Carolina Child Support Council News is published, Hugh Cole as editor.
December 1, 1981 First meeting of the North Carolina Child Support Council; The Council starts soliciting membership and nominating a Board of Directors.  By the next meeting of the Council on April 16, 1982, 198 members had joined the Council.
October 23, 1981 Members of the Child Support Council Steering Committee meet to form the North Carolina Child Support Council.
