Legislative Committee

Responsibilities:

• To recommend and work for improvements in state and federal laws to make the Child Support Program more efficient and responsive to the needs of dependent children

• To advise the President, Board of Directors, and membership on support matters before the state legislation and congress

• To support and lobby for the passage of legislation as directed by the Board of Directors

• To meet as a Committee at least annually and submit a written report to the Board of Directors and the membership at the annual conference
