Establishing Child Support Orders - Best Practices

This course will identify the best methods for establishing a support order and when it is appropriate to use each method (Civil Complaints, Motions to Intervene and Redirect, Voluntary Support Agreements, etc). Support Establishment ‘Best Practices’ will be discussed and participants will have the opportunity to share their ideas and learn what other counties are doing to increase their order percentages. Reports used to increase the percentage of cases under order will also be reviewed. The course will also cover processing statuses as they relate to the time frames for establishing a child support order.
